Citicol

Properties

Citicol contains citicoline, a neuroanabolic, regulator of neurotransmission. Citicoline stimulates the biosynthesis of the structural phospholipids of the neuronal membrane, thus improving the function of membrane mechanisms, such as the operation of ion exchange pumps and the receptors inserted in it, whose modulation is essential in neurotransmission.

Citicoline improves symptoms in situations of hypoxia and cerebral ischemia such as: memory loss, emotional lability, lack of initiative, difficulty in activities of daily living and personal care. Citicoline is also effective in the treatment of cognitive, sensory, motor, and neuropsychological disorders of degenerative or vascular etiology.
